System Verification Test Team is responsible for verification and validation of Adtran products from customer perspective. We are looking for a highly motivated and open minded individual with high communication skills, who wishes to join our department and help us improve our products by providing comprehensive analysis of the verified solutions.

Other tasks and responsibilities

• Supporting senior colleagues with lab setup and management

• Development of test cases in test management system

• Configuration and maintenance of test environments according to test tasks

• Documentation and tracking of defects in test management system

• Creation and performance of end-to-end test scenarios that include wide hardware and test equipment usage

• Usage of  measurement equipment and test applications necessary for all tasks in SVT

• Development or use of automated tests according to test purpose

• Own controlling of quality and documentation of test tasks

• Support of named internal and external customers

• Reporting periodically to the responsible Manager SVT

• Independent learning about new technologies, test methods and usage of measurement equipment

Knowledge, skills and experience required

• 3rd / 4th year Student of Telecommunication, Computer Science or similar faculty

• Available to work at least 20h per week

• Very good written and spoken English

• Familiarity with optical networks design, optical transport protocols DWDM, OTN or knowledge in other teleco areas i.e ethernet networks & services

• Experience in Telecom devices configuration would be an advantage

• Experience in development and/or usage of automation scripts would be beneficial

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Self-motivated, teamwork oriented and well organized
