The successful candidate will drive value by diving into the economic fundamentals of our business – supporting Portfolio Management, the annual planning and budgeting process, mid-term P&L development, and more to ensure OPH is set up for long-term success.
• This position will be responsible for overseeing and leading the Specialty Pharmacy operations for the Nephrology business within Patient Experience and Support
• Oversee Patient/Physician Support Services via Specialty Pharmacies
• Maximize value from performance contracts through score carding and internal coordination.
The position will report to Associate Director, Pharmacy Experience and REMS Operations
• Manage Day to Day interactions with each of the SP’s including ad-hoc customer inquiries/request on issue resolution
• Create, conduct and lead business reviews with each of the SPs.
• Lead and manage all touchpoints with internal and external parties including requests from the sales force.
Work cross functionally with Market Access on product access issues and Medical team on resource development and pull through.
Develop relationships and work closely with the Patient Experience Liaisons to help resolve Patient/Provider access issues.
• Create and manage various trade/SP agreements and communications to support the Nephrology business
• Leverage trade customer contracts, by analyzing and monitoring data in order to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Responsible for creating and updating business rules with each specialty pharmacy
• Identify appropriate metrics and tracking to ensure the right execution and success; analyze procedure volume, trends and growth for the specialty channel.
• Analyze pharmacy reporting in creating patient, provider, physician, pharmacy and payer data to help improve processes
Monitor specialty pharmacy data (ie; Time to First Fill, Conversion Rate, Gap days and Adherence)
• Collaborate with pricing, contracting and compliance to ensure all specialty contracts and fee for service agreements are compliant with government regulations.
Responsible for ensuring all specialty pharmacy invoices are paid on time and are billed appropriately
• Contribute to development of product and channel specific contract strategies
• Manage all aspects of the business: tracking the supply chain, managing contracts, developing processes and procedures, and developing reports for internal and external stakeholders
Required/Preferred:
Pharmacy Degree preferred
Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• At least 3 - 5 years direct experience with pharmaceutical sales data and data management with an emphasis on specialty pharmacy and patient services program data.
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical sales and marketing data sources specifically specialty pharmacy and patient services data.
• Knowledge of and/or experience in pharmaceuticals sales operations; understands how data is applied in a pharmaceuticals commercial operations context.
• Ability to translate business needs into data requirement Understands the basic principles of data management and pharmaceutical sales data processing.
• Understands the basic principles of data governance and date
