As a Receptionist, you'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite, you will report to Shari Thomas, Center Administrator. You'll manage front desk operations, support clinical staff, and help maintain a smooth and compassionate environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic setting and enjoys making a positive impact on others.As a Receptionist, you'll:
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
- Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.
- Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
- Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
Use your skills to make an impact
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience in healthcare customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered
- Convey information and maintain a positive, tone during calls
- Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow
- Experience using MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization
- Experience improving patient care and experience
- This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with EMR systems
Additional Information: This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.
