Job Description

This role will direct architecture and engineering activities. This role will also significantly contribute to strategy through use of expertise in systems and software engineering domain. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions.

·       Minimum Requirements (Technical):

·       15 years of experience in an engineering team working on artificial intelligence

·       10 years software architecture experience   

·       10 years experience influencing external customer engagements on artificial intelligence

·       10 years experience with server virtualization and linux software development 

·       10 years development experience working in firmware and/or software teams

·       5 years experience with IA server platforms and development experience with the integration and testing

·       Experience with time series data analysis

·       Minimum Requirements (Leadership & Management):

·       15 years of Leadership capability, strong interpersonal communications, and ability to task manage.

·       10 years of experience with culture and people development 

·       10 years of leveraging technical expertise and insights in a team environment and exhibit strong customer orientation.

·       10 years of experience managing and leading a software engineering team

·       Demonstrated written, verbal, and presentation skills required in the development of technical documents and presentations to customers. 

·       Preferred Requirements:

·       Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence or Electrical engineering

·       Experience with user space application development (e.g. drivers, SPDK)

·       Experience with SSDs, leading aspects of SSD development and PCIe storage architecture

·       Experience writing software for non-volatile memory products required (e.g. flash, NVMe)

·       Experience with network storage stack

·       Experience in working with external alignment around industry standards
