Penn State is currently seeking a strong leader and top frontline fundraiser in the role of Director of Development and Alumni Affairs to engage alumni and friends as partners in supporting Penn State Dickinson Law, one of the nation’s oldest law schools and a modern leader in antiracist legal education that produces profession-ready lawyers with a commitment to service and the skills to excel in an increasingly global market. Charged with guiding and overseeing all development and alumni relations activities for the law school’s  high-potential constituencies, and for Penn State’s School of International Affairs, this position reports directly to an Assistant Vice President for University Development and receives direction from campus leadership on fundraising objectives and priorities. The Director of Development and Alumni Affairs also works with other partners across the University and central development offices. With significant experience not only in fundraising but also in management, and with an entrepreneurial and ambitious vision for Penn State Dickinson Law’s fundraising operation, the Director of Development and Alumni Affairs will:

• Articulate Penn State’s and Penn State Dickinson Law’s needs, ambitions, and values, including antiracism as well as diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging through excellent informal and formal communications, including written proposals;
