This individual will serve as a ABMS Associate Director for emerging advanced programs within the BMC2 & Autonomy Solutions portfolio in the Mission Systems strategic business unit.
This position is onsite and located in McKinney, TX.
Relocation assistance is available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead future Advanced Battle Management System and Joint All Domain Command and Control captures and programs for growth
Successfully execute contracted programs
Develop long range strategic plan for assigned ABMS related programs.
Coordinate across other related programs and opportunities to cultivate alternative opportunities when captures are not successful and existing programs end.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
Must have a minimum of 12+ years of experience and successful execution in Command and Control and Battle Management operational environment.
Experience planning and managing programs to deliver BMC2 capabilities.
Knowledge of program facility management, IT systems and data transfers
Report to Advanced Battle Management (ABMS) Executive Leadership
Act as the initial RTX entry point to government customers, primes and subcontractors for ABMS & JADC2 content
Manage the coordination and communication across RTX with government, prime and subcontractors.
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Must be able to obtain DoD Top Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible.
Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidate with Battle Management from Navy or Airforce
Experience working on advanced program Consortiums.
Experienced with USAF BMC2 missions, enabling technologies acquisition customer, OEMs and associated programs.
Working knowledge of C2 technology and programs
Direct knowledge of software development programs, Agile Development, and DevSecOps
Experienced working with next generation air dominance advanced programs and systems; air dominance government customers; and air dominance prime and subcontractors
Cross Business Unit coordination experience
