Sales Operation Specialist

Established by Bill Foley in 1996, Foley Family Wines & Spirits (FFWS) is a portfolio of highly acclaimed wines and spirits from some of the world's greatest estates. The company owns more than 25 wineries and distilleries, each with its distinct style, legacy, and approach to hospitality.
SUMMARY: Coordinate and provide all aspects of Customer Service to Distributors and Sales Representatives, Export and Domestic.

Roles and Responsibilities:

•  Customer Service
• Act as main point of contact for assigned group of wholesale distributors and special handling accounts including Export, Control States, Bailment
• Work closely with Division and Regional Sales Managers to troubleshoot and resolve issues or concerns
• Respond to phone calls and email inquiries from Fulfillment Warehouse, Sales Team and Distributors
• Interface with other departments to procure necessary information for sales requests
• Maintains product Holds and Allocations for assigned territory
• Other job duties as assigned to facilitate sales


• Order Processing
• Review EDI orders and accurately enter non-EDI distributor purchase orders into ERP (Business Central)
• Confirm orders via file or email, and notify distributor and sales reps of any product, vintage or pricing discrepancies, revise orders as needed
• Check inventory levels, product holds and allocations, inform Manager of large orders or product shortages
• Coordinate with warehouse staff and carriers to ensure prompt pickup of orders


• Administrative
• Maintain item catalogs in EDI platform portal
• Resolve EDI file issues, testing, and onboarding new partners

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or two to four years related experience or equivalent
• Previous wine experience preferred
• BC/NAV or ERP related systems experience
• Exceptional customer service skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Office with in-depth Excel skills
• ·Problem solving, analytical skills and capability to manage priorities and workflow in a timely fashion.
