.NET for Android Developer – Transport Execution Systems

<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Design and build high-quality software solutions within the transport execution domain.</li><li>Collaborate with solution designers and business stakeholders to translate concepts into effective applications.</li><li>Implement robust unit tests to ensure software reliability and maintainability.</li><li>Apply Clean Code, Clean Architecture, and SOLID principles throughout the development lifecycle.</li><li>Manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for building and releasing software.</li><li>Integrate backend APIs and develop features for offline usage and data synchronization.</li><li>Contribute actively to the team through knowledge sharing and professional collaboration.</li></ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>5+ years of backend development experience with <strong>.NET</strong>, including <strong>LINQ</strong>, <strong>async/await</strong>, and <strong>security practices</strong>.</li><li>3+ years of experience with <strong>.NET for Android</strong> or <strong>Xamarin.Android</strong>, specifically focusing on native platform integration (excluding Xamarin.Forms or .NET MAUI).</li><li>Experience with architecture and design patterns including <strong>MvvmCross</strong>, <strong>Clean Architecture</strong>, and <strong>SOLID principles</strong>.</li><li>Experience with testing and quality using <strong>automated unit tests</strong>.</li><li>Experience with DevOps and CI/CD using <strong>Microsoft Azure DevOps</strong>.</li><li>Experience with data and integration including <strong>API integration</strong>, <strong>offline synchronization</strong>, and <strong>local persistence</strong>.</li><li>Experience with version control using <strong>Git</strong> and specific branching strategies.</li><li>You bring a professional and constructive attitude with the ability to take full responsibility for delivery.</li><li>You are fluent in <strong>English</strong> at a C level.</li></ul><p><strong>Nice to Haves</strong></p><ul><li>Deep understanding of Android internals including <strong>Activity/Fragment lifecycle</strong>, <strong>Services</strong>, and <strong>WorkManager</strong>.</li><li>Proficiency in <strong>Android UI layouts</strong> and responsive design.</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>push notifications</strong> and native SDK behavior.</li></ul>
