Overview
The Central Compliance and Strategic Portfolio Initiatives is the 2nd Line control function responsible Strategic Portfolio Initiatives within Central Compliance. You will be working closely with the Business and Compliance professionals to ensure that our risk-based program is both globally effective and locally anchored to our key divisional businesses. As an independent and robust 2nd level control function, the Central Compliance and Strategic Portfolio Initiatives Department seeks to manage Compliance risk and deepen the Culture of Compliance at Deutsche Bank through the development and management of Strategic Portfolio Initiatives that are sustainable and increase the trust of our clients. The Central Compliance and Strategic Portfolio Initiatives Department protects the Bank by advising on ethical conduct, identifying regulatory solutions, safeguarding integrity, and reputation in partnership with the Business. You will work on projects and initiatives that form part of the Central Compliance and Strategic Portfolio, These will be prioritized on an ongoing basis in accordance with the stated priorities of the Chief Administrative Officer and Global Head of Central Compliance and Infrastructure Compliance.

What You’ll Do
Manage Strategic Portfolio Initiatives, regulatory requests, prepare materials, and conduct quality assurance of documentation prior to submission
Plan and manage dependencies as part of the Central Compliance and Strategic Initiatives Portfolio
Supporting the process including delivering program reporting and management information (MI) to senior management, legal entity boards, internal and external auditors, and regulators (as appropriate)
Represent Central Compliance and Strategic Portfolio Initiatives in Bank-wide programs
How You’ll Lead
Coordinate with 1st and 2nd Line of Defense cross-divisional teams on the execution of various fast paced initiatives and remediation programs
Present updates to senior management and other stakeholders including the various Deutsche Bank Legal Entity Boards and Risk Committees
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (JD or MBA a plus)
Moderate experience in Compliance is preferred, although similar experience will be considered
Strong Microsoft Office skills, with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Experience working closely with 1st and 2nd Line of Defense cross-divisional teams, and project managers in carrying out large, complex, global initiatives with high energy and enthusiasm levels and exhibiting team leadership
Strong understanding of the various financial services laws, rules, regulations of one (or preferably several) of the global financial centers
Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively influence others and engage senior stakeholders and foster collaboration among Compliance, the Business and other infrastructure functions
Action-oriented and delivery focused with a disciplined approach and an ability to be proactive, work under pressure, and within tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy, showing initiative, and reacting quickly to changes in priorities
