At Ragnar, we have built a premiere series of road and trail running adventures. We are excited about the progress we’ve made over the past 19 years and are just scratching the surface of our potential. We want to change how individuals spend their weekend and infuse adventure into their everyday life.
We have built a coast-to-coast relay series, our own technology platform, dabbled in virtual events and partnered with some amazing brands along the way. Here at Ragnar, we are a passionate and scrappy team coming together from a wide range of backgrounds to solve incredibly complex problems and deliver amazing experiences.
We are looking for Brand Ambassador/Event Activation Staff to join our team. As a Brand Ambassador/Event Activation Staff, you will be representing Ragnar and our partners at our road and trail running events. You will help build out/set up amazing on-site activations, interact with our participants, and assist our event partners. Your main responsibilities will be to improve the overall event experience (both for event participants and our partners), setup event activations, promote and educate on behalf of Ragnar and our partners, build brand recognition/awareness, and demo out products.
This job is all travel (so bring your camera), you will not be in an office setting. All our events fall on weekends, and you must be able to work long hours during events. Employees in this position must have flexibility in their schedule to travel to at least 4 events in 2025 and must be a current resident of one of the following states: UT, ID, OR, CO, AZ, MN, ME, MI, TN, FL, OH, WI, CT, AL, NC, NV, NY, NJ, or PA.

What you will be working on:
- Responsible for the setting up and tearing down of Ragnar’s On-site Partnership Activations at each race
- Assembling tent(s), hanging banners, stocking product
- Transporting event equipment/fixtures/displays (up to 50 lbs.)
- Packing and inventorying partnership product
- Loading trailer(s) with equipment and product
- Greeting and interacting with our participants in a positive manner
- Answering customer's questions about Ragnar, our events, our partners, and our partners’ products
- Creating a fun and positive experience (e.g., assisting with contest/games, cheering on participants)
- Managing all aspects of on-site activation on behalf of Ragnar and our partners
- Maintaining the appearance and functionality of all activations
- Assisting on-site partners
- Overseeing on-site lead generation/capture
- Taking photos throughout the weekend of runner and partner interaction and sharing with the social team
- Building consumer trust and increasing brand awareness
- Driving retail sales while providing attendees with product knowledge and education
- Tracking and reporting on all activations, including inventory reporting and recording customer feedback and relaying that to the manager
- Attending training sessions to familiarize yourself with Ragnar and our partners
- Participating in pre-event and post-event meetings and debriefs, including debriefing with your manager
- Assisting with the setup, tear down, and execution of Glamping, Road Crew, or Ragnar on-site store when assigned. We are one team!
- Must have flexibility in schedule to travel to at least 4 events in 2025 (typically April-October)
- Travel includes 4-6 days at a time (Wednesday or Thursday through Sunday)
- Miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned
Your Skillset:

- Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to travel 4-6 days at a time
- Ability to commit to schedule 8-12 weeks in advance
- Must be comfortable with physical labor (able to maneuver odd objects/equipment up to 50 lbs.) and working long hours
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in inclement weather, heat, cold and/or humidity
