At Auburn Crest Hospice, we believe spiritual care is a vital part of end-of-life support—for our clients and their families. We’re seeking a Spiritual Care Coordinator who brings compassion, presence, and professionalism to every interaction.


What You’ll Do

As our Spiritual Care Coordinator, you’ll:

  • Offer direct spiritual support to clients and families, tailored to their individual beliefs and traditions.
  • Join our interdisciplinary team (IDT) to help ensure holistic care.
  • Assist with memorial services and provide grief support.
  • Build community partnerships with local clergy, care facilities, and outreach groups.
  • Serve as a comforting presence in times of transition—bringing peace, guidance, and hope.


What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Graduate of a seminary or school of theology—or equivalent spiritual care experience.
  • Experienced with end-of-life ministry, chaplaincy, or hospice care.
  • Deeply respectful and knowledgeable of diverse religious and spiritual perspectives.
  • A clear communicator—both in writing and in conversation.
  • Emotionally present, compassionate, and adaptable in emotionally sensitive situations.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.


You Might Also:

  • Offer after-hours or weekend support when needed.
  • Educate local clergy and community members about hospice spiritual care.
  • Help build a network of spiritual partners in the area.
