Scale Operator (1st shift) - South Plainfield Recycling

GP Recycling is seeking a Scale Operator to work 1st shift in our South Plainfield, NJ facility. This role supports the sustainability efforts of Georgia-Pacific by ensuring data and documentation accuracy with inbound and outbound loads. Compensation: $19-$20 per hour

Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm (this role also works rotating Saturdays from 6am - 2:30pm).

Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or GED

Other Considerations: Qualified candidates will have basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite with particular proficiency in Excel, display attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

What Will Put You Ahead:

·       Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

·       A minimum of one (1) year of scale operating experience

·       Current forklift license or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months

·       Experience in logistics
