Come join Collins Aerospace as a Project Manager supporting the Central Materials Projects Group. In this role you will keep momentum on strategic projects related to digital and transformation profiles which will have an impact on improving and sustaining our performance in the areas of Delivery, Inventory and Complexity Reduction for the materials community. You will focus on plan projects from start to finish, supervise projects tasks, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure that every aspect of the project is completed on time. You are expected to bring leadership/influencing skills, as well as capability to create synergies among different functions/teams and count on a strong critical thinking mindset. This position works onsite in our Chula Vista, CA facility.
What You Will Do
Planning, monitoring, and documenting tasks throughout a project and staying on schedule
Managing project resources (including teams and workers)
Documenting the progress of the project
Communicating with stakeholders
Change management assessment and execution
Assessing risks and strategically eliminating blockers and potential risks
Travel up to 25%, domestic and international
What You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree (Engineering/Business/Computer Science or similar) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
Project Management/Change Management experience
SAP or similar ERP
Experience with creating policies, Standard Work, Standard Job Instructions
Experience with driving continuous improvement
