The Role

Flock Safety is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Business Development for State Law Enforcement to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the company's efforts in expanding our business with existing and new state law enforcement customers across multiple product lines. 

This role will report into the SVP of Growth and be a critical business partner for both our Major Accounts sales team and Government Affairs team. While Flock Safety has north of 3000 law enforcement agency customers, there exists significant room to grow our business with State Law Enforcement who share our mission of eliminating crime, but have a unique mission set that may differ from local law enforcement. This role will offer substantial leadership exposure and opportunity to impact decision making for a new market within a hyper growth company.

How you'll make an impact: 

• Meeting with state law enforcement agencies, being laser focused on how Flock can help them solve more crime faster than they do today
• Partner with the Major Accounts sales team to progress opportunities from ideas to implementation
• Represent Flock at conferences and events attended by state LE officials to raise awareness of how we can help them achieve their mission
• Partner with the Government Affairs team on multiple fronts, among them helping our customers better educate state officials on the impact and efficacy of our tools
  

We're looking for people who:

• Experience selling technology to state agencies
• Experience navigating elected officials and securing funding for projects
• Experience working with law enforcement, particularly state agencies.
• Are highly motivated and outcome oriented
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

💰Salary & Equity: In this role, you’ll receive a starting salary of $190,000-$230,000, and OTE of $250,000- $275,000 as well as stock options
