Your Impact
Axon is rapidly growing in the federal market, and we need a high-energy, detail-oriented Federal Sales Fulfillment Manager to coordinate federal order execution, fulfillment, and compliance. This role ensures smooth transactions between sales, program management, operations, logistics, and inventory teams, delivering exceptional service to federal customers.
The Federal Sales Fulfillment Manager plays a critical role in managing high-volume, high-priority orders, coordinating inventory allocation, and ensuring adherence to federal contracting requirements. The role requires proactive engagement with stakeholders to identify fulfillment risks, troubleshoot order flow issues, and optimize logistics efficiency.
What You’ll Do
Location: Scottsdale AZ (Hybrid)
Reports to: Vice President, Federal Operations

- Manage and execute order fulfillment for federal customers, ensuring prioritization based on contract requirements.
- Monitor and release orders from Salesforce (SF) into D365, ensuring correct labeling, approvals, and compliance.
- Track fulfillment progress for all major federal orders and proactively resolve issues with sales, logistics, and warehouse teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing by coordinating with finance, compliance, and contracts teams.
- Monitor inventory constraints and provide forecasting support to ensure product availability.
- Collaborate with product management to assess upcoming demand and ensure pre-allocation of inventory for large contracts.
- Work with warehouse teams to ensure federal inventory is properly allocated and stored under the appropriate hold statuses.
- Provide weekly updates on federal fulfillment activity and constraints.
- Ensure fulfillment aligns with government contracting compliance, may include FAR and DFARS requirements.
- Monitor and enforce correct labeling, documentation, and shipping requirements for government orders.
- Perform audits on GSA orders, ensuring tracking data is uploaded correctly to the GSA portal.
- Support export compliance by providing necessary documentation for ITAR-restricted shipments.
- Partner with federal sales, program managers, and logistics teams to optimize fulfillment workflows.
- Work closely with customer success engineers (CSEs) to ensure customers have visibility into shipping timelines.
- Escalate and resolve issues in collaboration with Axon support teams when orders get stuck in SF/D365 integration.
- Coordinate with finance and contracts teams to ensure federal orders comply with invoicing and revenue recognition policies.
- Own key fulfillment reports, including Order Processing & Shipping Dashboard, Fulfillment Planning Dashboard, and Inventory Allocation Reports.
- Leverage analytics to improve order visibility and optimize logistics efficiency.
- Support cross-functional alignment by engaging with program managers, sales, and logistics to drive process improvements.

What You Bring
- 5+ years of order fulfillment, logistics, or sales operations experience
- Strong analytical skills with experience managing order and inventory reports
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with shifting priorities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset for order troubleshooting.
- Ability to learn on the go, be a self-starter
- Ability to work both individually and collaboratively in a fast moving and often ambiguous environment.
- Ability to frequently juggle multiple high-priority deadline-driven projects at once
- Prior experience with a federal government contractor
- Experience in CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (Microsoft D365) systems.
