Now it's your chance to get to know us from within a workplace full of warmth, friendship and support. </span></p><p></p><p><span>We invite you to join our wonderful team and be part of our purpose: Improving life for all by integrating the world. Join us and play an important role on our team lifting global trade every day! </span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Key Responsibilities </span></b></p><ul><li>Assist day-to-day operations of the procurement department, including managing supplier relationships and contract documentation.</li><li>Work closely with procurement staff to identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensure compliance with company procurement policies, and help optimize the procurement process to achieve cost savings and efficiency improvements.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of supplier interactions, contracts, and contribute to the preparation of reports and data analysis that inform strategic decision-making.</li><li>Inform superiors as soon as possible in the event there of any delay in procurement process.</li><li>Contacts suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.</li><li>Back up and support the team while colleagues are on leave.</li><li>Follow up on all contract’s expiry and keep them updated.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><span>We are looking for:</span></b></p><ul><li>Available for working <b>min. 3 days/week</b> at the office. The contract for this position will be temporary - <b>1 year</b>.</li><li>Residing in Bucharest area.</li><li>Quick learner and agility for a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Team player with strong communication skills.</li><li>Skilled with the use of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel, Word).</li><li>Proficient in English and Romanian.</li><li>Strong process-oriented approach to work, with excellent attention to detail and high level of commitment.</li><li>Proactive, dynamic, and organised person who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and support.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Life @Maersk</b></p><p><span>At Maersk, you’ll be part of a global team motivated by bringing the world closer.
