Here at Cask we are building a best in class organization with best in class employees. We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to help us deliver an amazing experience by effectively and accurately administering compensation and benefits for our employee, delivering an exceptional experience.
In this position you will foster relationships with outsourced providers and with internal stakeholders by establishing and maintaining exceptional business relationships and working collaboratively. It is critical that you are a hands-on and ready to support a fast-growing company.
What you’ll be doing:
- Partner with key stakeholders in our Finance, Accounting, HR and management teams to ensure timely and accurate record-keeping for payroll and incentive compensation programs.
- Managing time and attendance systems including processing leaves of absence, labor reporting and labor distribution
- Accrual and tracking of PTO balances, Bonuses, Commissions, and Employee Allowances.
- Administration of 401K plan, including payroll deductions, posting of contributions, and facilitation of the annual audit.
- Partner with HR in the facilitation of benefit plan open enrollment.
- Partner with HR in processing LOA’s, Separations and Bonus Payrolls
- Partner with Accounting to ensure timely and accurate record-keeping for payroll, and incentive compensation programs.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Experience working within a PEO Environment (TriNet); experience with ADP Workforce is highly preferred.
- Experience managing payroll for company with a national footprint. Our employees are in 42 states and five time zones.
- Undergraduate degree with at least 4 years of payroll experience required
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification a plus
- Extensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
- Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, flexibility, attention to detail, and an ability to maintain strict privacy of confidential financial data
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills; must be a collaborative team player with a can-do attitude and the ability to identify and implement creative solutions to complex technical problems
