Role Overview

As an Engineering Manager for the Alignerr engineering team at Labelbox, you will lead and grow a team responsible for building a scalable platform that supports the hiring, onboarding, and payment management of specialized experts who train and tutor AI.

In this role, you will manage the team’s daily operations, including sprint planning, daily standups, and one-on-one meetings, ensuring smooth execution and continuous progress. You will also contribute technical expertise in full-stack development, guiding the team in building robust and efficient systems.

Collaboration is key—you will work closely with other engineering teams to align on architecture, share best practices, and drive cross-functional initiatives. This role requires a strong foundation in full-stack frameworks (including backend development) and an understanding of AI systems to effectively lead the development of Alignerr applications.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (Advanced degree preferred).
• Proven technical leadership with 4+ years of experience in full-stack development (including backend) and 2+ years managing highly technical engineering teams.
