FE Maintenance Engineer

Position Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining the production machinery equipment and operating press-stamping tools

Role and Responsibilities

1. Maintain machinery equipment in good working order
2. Support FE leaders to develop quality management plans of production facilities in order to produce high quality products.
3. Generate reports to record equipment downtime, maintenance repair, and preventive maintenance on a regular basis to comply with regulations and internal policies
4. Repair and develop preventive maintenance programs through monitoring system.
5. Inspect existing facilities and prepare reports on the condition, deficiencies observed, designs necessary for repairs and estimated cost of repairs
6. Perform EHS chemical training to new hires and ensure compliance by conducting yearly refresher trainings for team.

7. All employees must have the ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
8. All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

1. Education: Minimum High School Diploma required with a technical emphasis on engineering or related fields. Technical or College degree required.
2. Experience: High school diploma with minimum 5-6 years of combined experience in manufacturing work environment or Minimum 3-4 years of experience for Technical College degree.
(Experience in operating robot program and Troubleshooting (ABB Robot, Yukawa Robot, KUKA Robot).  Senior: High school with minimum 10 years or Technical College Degree with minimum 5-6 years’ experience. Bachelor's degree with minimum 2-3 years
3. Knowledge: 
- PLC, Touch Program and Troubleshooting (Mitsubishi PLC, Siemens PLC, Allen-Bradley etc.)
- Understanding of production equipment and operation, and safety requirements related to the facilities and production equipment. 
- Understanding of Electric Control: Understanding of system improvement, system movement sequence, and electric parts.
- Understanding of Hydraulic systems and relevant safety regulations
4. Skills:  Communication (High proficiency and linguistic command in English (speaking and writing)), proficient Microsoft office, Project Management, Problem Solving, collaboration, attention to details.

5. All employees must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. 
6. Domestic role. Some direct interaction with HQ or region.
