SUMMARY: This position will be required to perform a wide range of administrative support duties.

Annual Salary: $45,000- $50,000 annually based on interview and experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and calendar management,.
  • Be familiar with all office supplies, to include printing and support related materials required for office activities.
  • Phone answering.
  • Support the effective and efficient processing of actions in Defense Travel Systems (DTS) as a Defense Travel Administrator (DTA) IAW tps://dtsproweb.defensetravel.osd.mil/wl/site/index.jsp, Joint Travel Regulation (JTR), Joint Federal Travel Regulation (JFTR)
  • Manage data entry for new and termed personnel in assigned office database
  • Review correspondence, training materials and training products for format and
    accuracy.
  • Support to daily operations including answering phones, managing/conflicting calendars,
    taking and conveying messages, reviewing administrative documents, and ensuring
    correspondence is IAW AR 25-50.
  • Be proficient in MS Office applications to create, review and print/reproduce Word
    documents, Power Point presentations, Excel spreadsheets, and manage schedule and
    appointments in MS OUTLOOK:
  • Arrange meetings/office visits for the Director, Deputy, Operations, and Noncommissioned Officer in Charge (NCOIC), to include managing conference room schedules, and preparing necessary meeting material:
  • Receive impromptu and official visitors, including foreign visitors, and facilitate their visits
    by directing them to the most appropriate staff member based on the purpose of the
    visit.
