As a Maintenance Technician in Saint Pauls, NC, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of our facility’s equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, you’ll be a key contributor to continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging your technical expertise to support a committed team focused on operational excellence. You Will:
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and upkeep of production and infrastructure equipment.
Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related components.
Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for task tracking and documentation.
Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired parts.
Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other machine components.
Install and repair electrical apparatuses such as transformers and wiring.
Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and associated hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.
Repair and maintain manual and CNC mills and lathes.
Use cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts as needed.
You Have:
5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong electrical and mechanical abilities.
Familiarity with a CMMS for maintenance operations.
Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical and electrical drawings.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, or equivalent software.
Forklift experience.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment:
Work in both office and manufacturing environment. May occasionally be required to perform job duties outside the typical office setting.
