Tecnician Maintenance - Bloomington

This is a M-F 8h position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

• To support production by ensuring the continued operation of all machinery, support equipment, and facility by improvement of process through repair, rebuilding, modification, and/or replacement.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Works with vendors on major repairs and upgrades to all equipment used in production.
• Troubleshoot machinery hydraulic systems and repair.
• Troubleshoot machinery electrical systems and repair.
• Troubleshoot machinery mechanical systems and repair.
• Troubleshoot molding processing.
• Troubleshoot lining processing.
• Troubleshoot PLC controls and repair.
• Aid in training hourly maintenance personal in repairs.
• Repairs of all facility systems.
• Work with vendors on installation of new equipment and start up.
• Work with I.S. and maintenance on PLC programming and repair.
• Orders required/approved parts and components for repairs.
• Notifies Department heads of problems in production.
• Updates records for all changes made to machines and file.
• Direct contact with vendors as required for repairs and improvements.
• Implementation of new technologies.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Aid in the training of maintenance staff.
• After hours maintenance emergencies.
• Responsible for following all Food Safety related policies and procedures.
• Responsible for following all Safety Rules, policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

High School diploma or equivalent, Trade School, OEM training, specialized training courses related to manufacturing maintenance. Injection molding machine OEM training, (husky, Arburg). Arc-Flash training (within 90 days). Lock out/Tag out authorized training. PLC programming/troubleshooting, (local community college). Paulson and ITC PC based trainings. Servo motor and frequency drives training.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 5-7 years manufacturing maintenance experience.
