The role in more details:

As a key member of the audit team at our Ioannina offices, you’ll assess the financial and operational integrity of investment programs, ensuring transparency, accountability, and alignment with organizational and legal requirements.

As a Senior Investment Auditor, you will:

  • Lead and execute audit engagements related to investment projects and development plans
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial standards, regulations, and where applicable, frameworks such as Law 4399/16, 4887/2022
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing clear insights and recommendations
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering high-quality audit delivery

To be successful at this role you need the following (hard and soft skills):

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • ACA/ACCA part qualification or a Master’s in Auditing/Finance is considered an asset
  • 2 to 6 years’ experience in audit — ideally with a focus on investment audits or project finance
  • Familiarity with public and private investment mechanisms, budgeting, and reporting standards
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks governing investments (e.g., Law 4399/16, 4887/2022, EU co-funded programs, etc.)
  • Excellent communication in Greek and English
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and audit tools
  • Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates)
