JOB SUMMARY: The Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant ( BIL CMA) will support medical providers in delivering care for patients enrolled in pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) services and in delivering primary care and HIV specialty care for patients living with HIV. The CMA is supervised by the Nurse Manager and ultimately the Director of Clinical Care.

We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing clinical team. In this role, you will partner with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff to provide high-quality primary care, HIV specialty care, and HIV prevention services, including Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP).

What You’ll Do

As a valued member of our clinical team, you will:

  • Welcome patients and create a positive, compassionate experience from check-in through discharge.
  • Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for their visit.
  • Obtain and accurately document vital signs, medical history, current medications, and patient concerns.
  • Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants during examinations and procedures.
  • Perform phlebotomy and collect, process, and prepare laboratory specimens.
  • Administer medications, injections, and vaccines as directed by licensed providers.
  • Perform patient triage and help ensure patients receive timely care.
  • Return patient phone calls within 24 hours while providing professional, compassionate communication.
  • Schedule appointments for providers, laboratory services, and follow-up care.
  • Process referrals and coordinate care with internal and external healthcare partners.
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Authorize medication refills according to provider direction and established
