Managing Director, Transformation

Dark Wolf Solutions, LLC is seeking a Managing Director of Transformation to join our team. This position acts as the senior executive leader driving the changes necessary to evolve the business operations of the organization as Dark Wolf Solutions transitions from small to large and from smaller restricted deals to larger full and open pursuits. The successful candidate will assist the CEO, CGO, and COO in driving transformational change in go-to-market large deal capture, corporate strategy, and the offering portfolio - representing the viewpoint of the company to internal and external stakeholders and clients. This position is located in Herndon, VA. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Helping to drive client segmentation and strategy including market coverage of existing clients and programs and prioritization of new clients and technology areas.
• Performing individual deal capture, especially on critical must win deals as the firm transitions to full and open (white papers, capture strategy, teaming strategy, client pain points, solution strategy, etc.).
• Developing capture processes, including checklists, deal thresholds, Pwin estimation, step review templates, etc. 
• Performing proposal work for individual deal captures, including proposal management, turnkey development, color review, conceptualization, and specific deal win strategy aligned with L&M. 
• Providing guidance in technology innovation through initiatives such as developing white papers and leadership articles, participating in industry events, and undertaking fractional Chief Technology Officer (CTO) responsibilities. 
• Promoting the cultivation and scaling of unique individual products, along with the creation of comprehensive go-to-market strategies, including collateral development, demonstrations, pricing structures, and content, tailored for these packaged offerings. 
• Innovating and developing new solutions that can open up new business opportunities or enhance existing offerings.
• Developing impactful messaging and engaging content to highlight technological distinctiveness, utilizing resources such as labs, demonstrations, workbooks, or playbooks, etc. 
• Conducting proactive strategic planning, involving the development of precise and actionable strategies pertaining to customer segments, product offerings, geographical regions, and program initiatives as part of a comprehensive transformation process. 

Required Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in a Technical Discipline, PhD preferred
• Masters Degree in Management or MBA
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in the DoD or other government sectors and government contracting environments
• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Strong technical background with experience software development, information technologies, data sciences.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills
• Proven track record of developing innovative solutions and contributing to business growth
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams
• Ability to independently but collaboratively to evangelize change
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a government contracting environment. In office support M-F during core hours (9am – 5pm)
• US Citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance, SCI eligibility preferred 

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in the Federal sector, specifically in a finance, administration, or contracts.
• Knowledge of government contract regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.

This position has remote flexibility but candidates must be based out of the Herndon, VA area with ability to support in office.
