The Seasonal Parking Attendant Cashier is responsible for managing parking operations, collecting payments, assisting customers, and ensuring a smooth and efficient parking experience. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle cash and electronic transactions accurately. Parking Attendant Cashiers must maintain a professional and friendly demeanor while working in fast-paced environments. As a seasonal employee there are no minimum hours guaranteed for any week or month.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Efficiently process payment transactions accurately and promptly to prevent wait times and backups.
• Collect parking fees using cash, credit cards, or electronic payment systems.
• Issue tickets, receipts, and parking validations as needed.
• Provide clear directions and information about parking policies, rates, and availability.
• Ensure security by verifying authorized access and monitoring parked vehicles.
• Maintain accurate financial records, reconcile cash drawers, and report discrepancies.
• Assist customers with parking-related inquiries, complaints, or issues.
• Keep the parking booth, kiosk, or work area clean and organized.
• Communicate with supervisors and security personnel regarding incidents, lost tickets, or equipment malfunctions.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures to ensure a secure parking environment.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience as a cashier, parking attendant, or customer service representative is preferred.
• Strong math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer or POS (Point of Sale) system knowledge.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Work Environment

• Outdoor or indoor booth setting, depending on the facility.
• Exposure to varying weather conditions such as heat, cold, and rain.
• Standing or sitting for extended periods.
• Interaction with a diverse range of customers, including drivers, event attendees, and employees.
