Job Duties

Duties include but are not limited to preparing detailed court documents in accordance with established guidelines, entering date in an automated Case Management System, scheduling matters for court, preparing legal documents, scanning case files, assessing fines and cost. In addition, providing professional and accurate informational customer service for a diverse populace at the front counter, via telephone, and in writing.

The position will require clerical duties in the courtroom; assisting the Judge with the docket, preparing paperwork, entering the Judge’s findings in the case management system. Preparing all documents prior to court and upon completion of court for all criminal and/or traffic cases. Entering data into the case management from front counter and mail for civil filings to include payment of related fees. Assisting parties with payments of fines and cost. Must be able to work as a team and individually. The best candidate must be able to multitask in an efficient and accurate manner and adjust to the daily demands of a fast-paced office.

Minimum Qualifications

Office related experience, highly organized. Experience handling money. Computer literate
