We are looking for a Data Quality Manager to join our Intelligent Operations team in Warsaw. As IT Data Quality Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of our IT data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertise to establish and maintain robust data quality standards and processes. The role combines analytics and management accountabilities. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on P&G's data-driven, AI supported decision-making capabilities.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement data quality standards, , and procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of IT data.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data quality issues, root causes, and opportunities for improvement – from data sources through data pipelines to data consumption.
Conduct data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues.
Work closely with data architects, engineers and data asset managers to analyze, design data cleansing and remediation strategies to continuously improve our pipeline for reliability.
Lead design and build of data quality status visualization and scorecard, leveraging Data Visualization and Observability tools.
Monitor data quality metrics, classify results and perform regular audits to identify and resolve data discrepancies or anomalies.
Manage data incidents, drive root cause analysis and resolution in the larger team.
Drive issue resolution by leveraging our Observability and automation capabilities to avoid recurring issues.
Regularly review and adjust data quality results and strategy with stakeholders, introduce improvements and innovations to development approaches, data engineering practices and architecture strategies.
Provide guidance and training to business users on data quality best practices and data governance principles.
Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data quality management, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance data quality practices.
Job Qualifications
Qualifications
Proven professional experience as a Data Quality Manager or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of data quality frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
Proficiency with requirement, issue and root cause analysis
Proficiency in data profiling and validation techniques, hands-on experience with data quality tools and software
Good technical skills in data visualization tools like Power BI
Solid understanding of data governance principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify data quality issues and develop effective solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
Drive for results and persistence to succeed in a dynamic, multi-dimensional environment
English proficiency and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
Nice to Have
Familiarity with data management and data integration concepts, preferably experience in cloud environment (Microsoft Azure)
Knowledge of SCRUM and DevOps methodologies
Hands-on experience with Observability methodology and tools
Certification in data (quality) management (e.g., CIDQ, CDMP) is a plus.
