Insurance Coordinator

Middle Tennessee Oral and Implant Surgery is seeking a skilled and committed Insurance Coordinator to join our team at our Murfreesboro location.  The ideal candidate should possess a natural inclination towards providing compassionate service and exceptional care to our patients.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Respond to patient's questions concerning billing and payments.
• Processing patient insurance payments.
• Submit claims to insurance companies.
• Research and examine all claims.
• Process outstanding claims reports.
• Work denied claims and submit corrected claims.
• Post EFT, check payments, and credit card payments.
• Process insurance payments.
• Answering phone calls promptly.

Requirements

• One or more years of insurance verification experience is highly desired.
• Oral Surgery experience is preferred.
• One or more years of customer focused experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be organized, detailed oriented, and accurate. 
• Enjoy interacting with patients and working in a team environment.
• Follow protocols and guidelines as they relate to patient privacy (HIPAA/OSHA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
