The Laboratory of Dr. Zhao-Hui (Joe) Song Zhao-hui Song, PhD — School of Medicine University of Louisville has a temporary part-time research assistant position at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, School of Medicine.
The person hired for this position will assist in pharmacological experiments studying the mechanisms of actions and potential therapeutic effects of cannabidiol (CBD) and other cannabinoids.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in ordering lab supplies and maintain lab operations.
Assist in experiments using both cell culture and animal models, assist in collecting data and perform routine data analysis under the supervision of principal investigator.
Assist in search of scientific literature and prepare manuscripts for publications.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field such as psychology and neuroscience.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
