At nVent Management Company, we are seeking a Lead Painter to join our ambitious team in Oregon, WI, USA. As a Lead Painter, you will have a crucial role in guaranteeing the quality and accuracy of our manufacturing processes. Your efforts will be vital in upholding our high standards and reaching our objectives.
Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead and coordinate painting projects, ensuring all tasks are completed with outstanding quality and strict adherence to specifications.
- Responsibility of the lead is being prepared to be productive with tools, material, and information.
- Prepare surfaces and apply paint using various techniques and equipment.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain equipment and materials necessary to complete operations.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure flawless finishes and adherence to nVent’s standards.
- Align with all applicable safety procedures, quality specifications, and 5S Standards.
- Demonstrate flexibility by performing rotational assignments as needed and actively participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
- Minimum of a High School Diploma.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a painting role, preferred.
- Proven expertise in using painting tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and understand instructions in manuals and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Prior lead or senior-level experience preferred.
