Minimum to work 24 hours per pay period (2 weeks), must be available for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift. Required to work 1 weekend shift per pay period.
This position requires flexibility to work at West Allis, St Luke's & Sinai.
Pay Range:
$22.00 - $22.00Essential Functions
- Registers or Pre-registers all scheduled patients for admission, partial hospitalization, and outpatient services.
- Verifies insurance coverage and obtains authorization for all services that requires authorization, pre-certification, and/or referral.
- Coordinates with patients and scheduling departments to reschedule procedures until authorization or patient payment can be arranged. Requests upfront payment of deposits from responsible party.
- Updates schedule for cancellations, rescheduling, and other changes on an ongoing basis.
