Position Summary
As a Consumable and Critical Work professional for our 24/7 Operations team, you will be responsible for ordering and scheduling critical work for our ultrapure water and Industrial Wastewater systems including but not limited to: Multi Media Filters, Reverse Osmosis, Ion Exchange, Ultrafiltration, Acid Waste Water, Copper Waste Water, and Fluoride Wastewater systems in such manner as to ensure optimal facility operations.Role and Responsibilities
Administers functional programs, manage B/C Class inventory levels to ensure
Analyzes and tracks functional programs for efficiency and effectiveness
Identifies areas of opportunities in the following areas: business process improvement, functional programs, and administration; provides input as to which improvement projects need to be pursued
Contributes to the design and implementation functional programs
Completes thorough analysis of administration issues and makes recommendations
Manages multiple projects
Coordinates teams to implement significant changes as needed
Mentors and trains junior professionals
Negotiates or approves contracts and agreements with suppliers and other external entities; gets approvals as outlined in departmental guidelines
May manage vendor(s) and/or consultants
Regular attendance and timeliness is required per departmental guidelines

Consistently applies an advanced level of knowledge of applicable best practices, laws and regulations to applicable functional area
Demonstrates strong working knowledge of programs and best practices within functional area of expertise
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary information
Effectively communicates via verbal/written means to immediate team and other SAS departments even in complex situations
Multitasks and adapts to constant change
Proficient in relevant SAS systems related to the applicable functional area and/or technical needs of the department
Able to use Microsoft Office software (Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Knows SAS software packages
Has intermediate time management skills
Possesses strong attention to detail, flexibility, and prioritization
