Test Automation Engineer (Remote)

ICF’s IT Modernization division is a rapidly growing, entrepreneurial, technology department seeking a ServiceNow QA Tester Specialist to support upcoming needs with our federal customers.  Our IT Modernization division is an information technology and management consulting department that offers integrated, strategic solutions to its public and private sector clients. The Team: 

The Application Development Sustainment Services (ADSS) team supports Treasury Enterprise Application (EA) platform systems that are critical to the success of the Department of Treasury IT mission. The ADSS program provides contractor support for both Operations and Maintenance (O&M) activities and Development and Modernization (DM&E) efforts. 

The Work 

The ServiceNow QA Tester Specialist serves as the tester on behalf of the team, and the client that completed development meets the requirement as defined by the client. Additionally, the QA Specialists ensure all testing documentation, including User Acceptance Testing scripts, is successfully documented. This position is within the context of an Agile team employing the Scrum development framework. The Agile QA Specialist is expected to collaborate with the business analyst and developers that the requirements have been successfully provided based on the requirements defined by the client. 

In addition to supporting all phases of the project, this position will also be responsible for authoring content and peer reviewing a wide array of documents, including functional, technical, training, marketing, and proposals. 

Responsibilities: 

Work with the test team to design, develop, implement, and maintain a test automation framework that serves multiple project needs using and write test scripts using languages such as Java/ JavaScript, VBScript 

Testing and debugging skills on the ServiceNow platform 

Knowledge of software testing tools and processes, including executing Automated Test Framework (ATF), recording results, and working with the team to identify and resolve defects/bugs. 

Participate in sprint planning and work with the project team to identify risks/impacts in the system to be tested. 

Perform various types of testing including automated, exploratory, load, and performance testing on web services and applications.  

Required Skills and Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent 

• 3+ years of solid, demonstrable experience in various types of testing including automated, exploratory, load, and performance testing on web services and applications. 

• 2+ years of experience setting up & executing test scripts in a test automation tool such as Selenium or Cypress 

• 2+ years of experience working in an agile development environment (i.e., scrum, Kanban, etc.) 

• US Citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements. 

• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust 

MUST RESIDE IN THE United States (U.S.) and the work MUST BE PERFORMED in the United States (U.S.), as this work is for a federal contract and laws do apply. 

Desired Skills: 

• Knowledge of developing Automated Test Framework (ATF) 

• Strong Analytical skills 

• Preferred Tools and Technologies: Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Bamboo, Java, Blazemeter, JMeter  

• Experience on the ServiceNow Platform 

• Knowledge of JavaScript and Angular JS
