Bindery Operator

What does a successful Bindery Operator do at Fiserv? 

You will join the team at our Hazelwood, MO location and receive training on our world class Bindery equipment, while maintaining high levels of confidentiality and efficiency to meet client Service Level Agreements. You will troubleshoot any machine errors that may occur to complete print projects by the specified deadline.      

What you will do: 

• Perform manual and assembly production tasks using MBO folders, large polar cutters, hot melt glue, and dick moll pocket folders
• Set up and run signatures and normal folding using Muller Martini stitcher
• Perform quality checks 
• Troubleshoot to resolve machine and job-related problems and perform minor machine adjustments, as required, in response to equipment error messages 

What you will need to have: 

• 2+ years of bindery machine experience  
• Experience using a computer for data entry  
• Proficiency in spoken and written English  
• Ability to stand 95% of your shift and safely lift up to 40 pounds without assistance  
• Must be able to reach above shoulders, climb, squat, kneel and bend often  

What would be great to have: 

• A high school diploma, equivalent work, or a combination of work, education and military experience  
• 12+ months Production Experience in High-Speed Operation or similar 

Important info about this role:  

• You will work an assigned schedule of Monday-Friday; 6am-2:30pm
• Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays
