Job Description

Are you a visionary problem-solver who thrives on innovation and enjoys creating solutions that inspire awe? We are seeking a hands-on Sr. Staff Product Manager to oversee our Tools portfolio, assisting Solution Consultants in customizing their demos to meet the specific needs of prospects. This position is focused on enhancing Solution Consultant productivity and expediting the sales process.

 

This role is pivotal within our Demo Ops & Architecture teams, offering the opportunity to work in a startup-like environment with significant autonomy. We're looking for someone who can advocate for top-tier development practices and collaborate closely with our Demo Engineering counterparts.

 

What you get to do in this role:

Discovery:

  • Lead Tools consolidation effort across multiple internal teams; define and drive process for New Tools creation and consolidation, updates, and depreciation
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as Solution Consultants and Demo Engineering teams, to identify the need for tooling and potential opportunities
  • Define product requirements and create a comprehensive short-term and long-term Tools roadmap

Building:

  • Drive the development process, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and defining user stories.
  • Lead the development of advanced Tools and provide guidance to junior team members in the Systems Engineering team.
  • Assess the technical feasibility, dependencies, and constraints of features, collaborating with adjacent teams as necessary.

Launch & Enablement:

  • Establish metrics to measure the performance and effectiveness of our Tools.
  • Coordinate Tool launches, including developing enablement materials and conducting training sessions.
  • Actively promote Tool adoption to enhance Solution Consultant productivity.
  • Monitor performance and gather feedback from various stakeholders to identify areas for improvement.
     

 

Qualifications

 

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 10+ years of overall work experience as a Technical Consulting, Software Development, or Product Manager, including experience with the Now Platform and other ServiceNow applications.
  • ServiceNow Certifications highly preferred.
  • Experience with end-to-end product delivery: discovery, ideation, requirements/specs, delivery, data analysis/customer feedback.
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum environment.
  • Experience creating engaging and educating content.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, able to communicate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to articulate/demonstrate innovative thinking.
  • Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment. Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively, internally and externally, and communicate to diverse stakeholders.
