Required Qualifications

7 years of experience in general accounting/financial reporting required with preference given to applicants with experience in accounting/financial reporting in a higher education setting.
 
Skills:

• Experience with an enterprise-wide financial applications software system.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail.
• Strong financial planning and analysis skills, ability to demonstrate acumen in business.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility across all levels of the college and university.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to work within ambiguity.
• Ability to evaluate, prioritize, escalate, and problem-solve in high pressure situations.
• Ability to provide process improvements, be a hands-on trainer, mentor, and team leader to various staff in the college.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or CPA
Experience in a higher education setting
Post award grant administration experience, knowledge of Federal OMB Uniform Guidance
Experience with Oracle or Workday
