FOX Entertainment Global (“FEG”) is responsible for overseeing the global, multi-platform sales and distribution of intellectual property, owned and produced by FOX Entertainment and its growing portfolio of business units including Fox Alternative Entertainment, MarVista Entertainment, Fox Entertainment Studios, TMZ, Tubi, Bentobox and Studio Ramsay Global as well as premium content acquired from outside producers. Fox Entertainment is seeking a Senior Manager, Rights Management, to support FEG. As a Senior Manager, Rights Management, you will primarily manage and handle the rights “in” and rights “out” in connection with the distribution and licensing for domestic and international distribution, and may have involvement with overall deal management.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the rights management database team with the supervision of and in collaboration with the SVP, Business & Legal Affairs
- Work with content provider studios to secure and understand available distribution rights
- Review and analyze rights from content providers in order to summarize and record rights in rights management database
- Review and analyze rights from license and distribution agreements in order to summarize and record rights in rights management database
- Participate in the review and data entry of deal terms regarding license agreements, format agreements and acquisition agreements.
- Handle any inquiries from Senior Management.
- Involvement with Tech team for Salesforce and Rightsline system upgrades.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 4-5 years of rights and/or deal management experience
- Prior experience reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing various agreements including but not limited to license, distribution, commissions, production, rights acquisitions, digital rights, etc.
- Working knowledge and understanding of various rights such as AVOD, SVOD, Pay TV, EST, PPV, Free TV, basic cable, Fast Channels, etc.
- Ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels, internally & externally
- Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Strong drafting skills and ability to spot issues quickly
- Self-motivated and able to handle more than one project at a time and accurately assess the priority of assignments
- Ability to work as a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Juris Doctor Degree desirable
- Knowledgeable and experience with Rightsline

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $92,000.00-105,000.00 annually.
