  • Weekend rotation

Pay Range

$44.15 - $66.25

This position is Sign-on Bonus eligible. In addition to the sign-on bonus, this position may be eligible for a relocation bonus if current residency is outside of the designated distance to the facility. 

Where You Will Work:

Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center 3T - Solid Tumor/Women’s/Gyno Oncology is a fast paced 36-bed oncology unit, focusing on the care of patients with various solid tumor oncology diagnoses (breast, lung, pancreatic, etc.) and the complications of those diagnoses. Additionally, 3T has a women’s/gyno focus, often caring for surgical patients post breast reconstruction, and other gynecological surgeries. 3T administers multiple chemotherapy agents including bispecific therapies and clinical trial drugs. The team prides itself on inclusivity, teamwork, and exemplary patient care.

We’re Looking For: 

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing 
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices 
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association 
  • 6 months of RN experience
  • Minimum two years nursing experience preferred. Previous management experience preferred.
  • BSN required. RN candidates for external hire or internal promotion without BSN must be enrolled in a BSN program within 1 year of Hire/Transfer date and must complete program within 3 years of enrollment in the program.
  • Appropriate professional certification (either clinical or leadership) is required within 1 year of eligibility for professional certification exam. Additional education, training, certifications, or experience may be required within the department by the nurse leader.

What You’ll Do: 

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. 
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

CMC serves as the region’s only Level 1 Trauma center, is Magnet-designated, and an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver. We also serve as one of North Carolina’s five Academic Medical Center Teaching Hospitals, providing residency training for more than 200 physicians in 15 specialties and serve as a satellite for the medical school at UNC-Chapel Hill.
