The VP, People Experience (PX), Latin-Iberia will be responsible for the strategic development, leadership and delivery of the PX strategy, including delivering best-in-class employee experiences and support for the region. This role works closely with the Latin-Iberia regional leadership team, Americas and Global PX leadership, and Latin-Iberia country PX leads to define priorities across all critical employee experiences, including hiring, onboarding, engagement, compensation, talent management, and mobility.
Reporting into the SVP, People Experience Americas & EVP Chairman & CEO Latin-Iberia Region, with close partnership with the COO Latin-Iberia, this role will be part of the Latin-Iberia and PX Americas leadership teams and will play a critical role in enabling and delivering on our PX vision: to be recognized as a people centric company that transforms the music industry and beyond.
What you'll do:
Strategic Business Partnership
- Day-to-day Business Partner leadership responsibility for Miami staff (roughly 250 employees) and oversight of the broader team of regional PXBPs (with responsibility for ~800 employees across Latin America and Iberia).
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and employees to provide strategic and tactical planning, direction, coaching and support; serve as a key liaison and trusted business partner on all People eXperience initiatives, programs, and processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities for strategic and operational improvement across the region (i.e., automation, streamlining and best practices) as it pertains to systems, processes, adoption of new technologies, integration of new workflows, staffing models, and organization structures.
- Oversee and provide guidance on employee relations issues by consulting with ER partners and escalating issues as appropriate
- Partner with Regional leadership team and MDs on key organization development and initiatives that may have broader reach implications across the region.
- Provide quarterly people data and insights updates for your regional leadership team and use data, analytics and financials to develop strategies and build a strong business case for change.
- Partner with the Regional CEO & COO to identify key priorities (aligned with business plan and employee engagement survey) to communicate and drive employee awareness and alignment
- Contribute to M&A activities through PX due diligence, cultural and systems integration in close partnership with the COO, Latin-Iberia, PX Ops and Total Rewards.
Regional PX Leadership & Team Partnership
- Lead, motivate and develop a high performing team of PX professionals across the region.
- Partner with SME’s centres of excellence (C.O.E’s) Talent Acquisition, People Operations, People Relations, Compensation, Benefits, The Learning Collective, Org Success, Diversity and Inclusion, Communication teams on key initiatives, processes and practices for the region to ensure thoughtful, consistent and impactful experiences.
- Contribute to a highly collaborative Americas and Global People Experience team on cross-functional, global projects and initiatives.
- Ensure close partnership with Finance, Operations, Comms, DEI, PSI, Facilities and Business & Legal Affairs teams, to develop and deliver an optimal employee experience across the region
- Partner with internal Compensation team to identify appropriate compensation, using market analysis information; partner with benefits department to actively identify competitive benefit offerings for the region.
- Ensure compliance with local employment laws, regulations, data privacy standards, and other relevant policies.
