Senior Technical Recruiter – Semiconductor Research and Engineering
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting Natcast's research and technical recruiting efforts, playing a crucial part in building world-class teams that drive innovation in semiconductor R&D and manufacturing.
Every day, you will source, screen, and engage top talent in the semiconductor industry, collaborating with hiring managers to understand their needs and develop effective recruitment strategies for highly specialized technical roles.

Natcast is a purpose-built, non-profit entity established by the CHIPS Act to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium. The Technical Recruiter plays a vital role in Natcast's mission by identifying and attracting top talent in semiconductor research and engineering. Responsibilities
Develop and implement recruitment strategies for highly specialized technical roles in semiconductor research and engineering
Source potential candidates through various channels, including job boards, professional networks, and industry events
Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for technical positions
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and identify ideal candidate profiles
Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and acceptance
Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive intelligence in the semiconductor field
Organize and participate in recruitment events, job fairs, and industry conferences
Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and activities
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Collaborate with the HR team to improve and streamline recruitment processes and procedures
Required Skills and Experience
8+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably in the semiconductor or related high-tech industries
Strong understanding of technical roles and requirements in semiconductor research and engineering
Proficiency with Artificial Intelligence as applied to the recruiting discipline
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with both candidates and hiring managers
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools
Experience with sourcing strategies and techniques for hard-to-fill technical positions
Familiarity with multiple state employment laws and regulations
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
