How you will create an impact
We are seeking a Data Engineer with 5 years of experience in building robust data solutions. The candidate will collaborate with various project teams on multiple ongoing activities, including tasks that may extend beyond standard service level agreements.
Work closely with business teams to understand requirements and support data needs
Perform data analysis, manage ad-hoc data requests, and ensure high-quality data availability to drive data-driven decision making
Develop and maintain data pipelines across diverse environments (Snowflake, Oracle Exadata, SSIS, etc.)
Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver data solutions for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and business intelligence initiatives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure data products.
Conduct data and system analysis to identify and resolve defects, ensuring smooth data flow.
Write and fine tune advanced SQL scripts, stored procedures, and queries for large scale datasets.
Develop Python-based data processing to streamline data workflows.
Perform data quality assessments, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data integrity.

What you'll need to succeed
Proficiency in Snowflake and advanced SQL
Experience with Oracle and Python ETL processes
Strong data analysis skills.
Cloud technology experience (AWS preferred)
Ability to design, build, and deploy data solutions.
Passion for working with data and solving complex problems
Familiarity with SSIS and other data environments.
Understanding of data governance, security, and quality management principles.
Working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Experience working in an agile development environment.
I
nsurance or financial services domain knowledge
is highly desirable.

For positions based in Jersey City, NJ, the base salary range is $120,000-$96,000 and the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
