Summary

The Associate Specialist Master Data will be responsible for supporting the business with creating new master data elements, updating existing data where required and inactivating/archiving master data as needed.  The Associate Master Data Specialist will be responsible for maintaining high level data integrity within the RTR objects (Cost Center, Profit Center, GL Accounts, Assets, Activity Types, etc). The position works closely with the Global Master Data Governance team, Corporate Accounting, IT and other functions as needed to ensure proper set-up in SAP.

 

As the RTR SAP Business Analyst you will also be the Subject Matter Expert for all Record To Report activities and support the Accounting business users in the delivery of end-user training as well as function as a key member on project teams throughout the full project lifecycle (blueprinting, realization, final prep, go-live, and support) including the operation phase. Hollister Incorporated is operating in a hybrid work environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations by creating, reviewing, validating and maintaining RTR master data in SAP. (Cost Center, Profit Center, GL Accounts, Assets, Activity Type, etc)
  • Organizes and determines course of action necessary to complete master data requests within the established Service Level Agreements.
  • Maintains Master Data Governance and Quality.
  • Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of new process and/or enhancements to the systems that support master data.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on master data integration problems. Recommends and executes corrective action.
  • Implement process to audit master data objects, and communicate impact to all areas of the business based on account changes.
  • Maintain accuracy with impeccable attention to detail.
  • Manage urgent work deadlines and high profile deliverables in an efficient manner.
  • Support the business in master data maintenance, analysis and governance as needed
  • Train end users on master data requirements and activities as needed
  • Developing close relationships and partnering with Global Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, MD teams and other functions.

 

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years’ experience in Global SAP S4 Hana Accounting Operations
  • Bachelor's degree required in Finance or Accounting, or in a related field
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA functionality, especially in Finance, Reporting, and Controlling (FI/CO/GL/AR/AP), including GL Reporting, P&L Reporting, Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets.
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Ability to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several different activities.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, deal with interruptions, and meet deadlines in a fast paced and growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong proven ability to adapt communication style to different situations and people as well as to a complex business structure.
  • Support multiple projects at the same time.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools.
  • SAP experience in RTR Objects and BPC
  • Strong attention to details.
