You’ll help drive a seamless product development process that emphasises design excellence, cross-team alignment, and scalable solutions. In this role, you'll champion high-quality, consistent design outcomes while mentoring your team and advancing the design practice within EcoVadis.</p><p>● Design Leadership</p><ul><li>Lead and mentor a team of product designers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to elevate the quality of design across products</li><li>Champion a user-centered design approach, ensuring the team creates intuitive, accessible, and impactful user experiences</li><li>Establish and maintain a high design standard through critique sessions, design reviews, and clear feedback loops</li></ul><p>● Strategic Influence</p><ul><li>Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and senior stakeholders to align design vision with business goals</li><li>Contribute to product strategy by identifying user needs, opportunities, and innovative design solutions</li><li>Drive design thinking and research practices throughout the product lifecycle</li></ul><p>● Team Management &amp; Development</p><ul><li>Hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing, diverse design team</li><li>Set individual goals, conduct performance reviews, and facilitate career growth through coaching and mentorship ○ Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and design team culture</li></ul><p>● Process Optimisation</p><ul><li>Define and evolve design processes and workfl ows that support scalability and effi ciency without sacrificing quality</li><li>Implement systems for consistent design quality, such as guidelines, and shared resources</li><li>Encourage experimentation while ensuring designs are delivered on time and aligned with product timelines</li></ul><p>● Cross-functional Collaboration</p><ul><li>Act as a key liaison between design, product, engineering, and other departments to ensure cohesive product experiences</li><li>Translate complex problems into elegant design solutions, supported by data and user insights</li><li>Advocate for design as a strategic business function within the organisation</li></ul><p>● Thought Leadership</p><p>Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging tools, and UX best practices ○ Represent the design function in leadership forums, contributing to broader company vision and culture</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>● Design Expertise</p><ul><li>5-8+ years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI, or interaction design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work</li><li>Strong foundation in UX principles, visual design, information architecture, and interaction design</li><li>Comfortable working through ambiguity, taking ownership of identifying problems and creating solutions</li><li>Have a "validate first and perfect later" mentality committed to continuous development and learning</li></ul><p>● User Research &amp; Data</p><ul><li>Proficient in conducting and applying insights from user research and usability testing</li><li>Experience using research tools like Maze, Lookback, UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, or in-house testing methods  </li><li>Comfortable working with product metrics and behavioral analytics to inform design decisions</li></ul><p>● Collaboration &amp; Communication</p><ul><li>Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional partners in product management, engineering, and data</li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills - able to articulate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>Comfortable facilitating workshops, design sprints, and stakeholder presentations</li></ul><p>● Strategic Thinking</p><ul><li>Ability to think at a systems level and connect the dots across user journeys, business goals, and technical constraints</li><li>Experience working in agile or lean environments, contributing to product strategy and roadmap discussions</li><li>Track record of identifying design opportunities that enhance the product and create b
