The Opportunity
This position works out of our Columbus, OH location in the Nutrition Divison. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You’ll Work On
- Overall responsibility and control of Plant Finance Function
- On site responsibility for the site IT function
- Tactical and strategic site leadership & management as a member of the site staff management team
- Prepare, review and analyze actual Financial reporting in a timely manner
- Prepare plans, LBE’s and LRP in a timely manner
- Develop and upgrade reporting structures and tools
- Design, develop & maintain internal financial controls
- Provide financial analysis as required e.g. projects, new products, third party manufacturing opportunities
- Provides leadership to the plant’s productivity cost improvement team.
- Internal & external Financial audits
- Staff development and training
- Cultivate business relationships with site external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with International and local financial policy and procedures.
- Conduct business in a manner that will protect human health, safety and the environment by complying with all applicable EHS laws, as well at the Abbott Global and Technical standards.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities
- Professional qualification in accountancy or degree in accounting
- Minimum of 7 years experience in all phases of general accounting.
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing accounting systems and particularly standard costing.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong team building skills with proven abilities in decision-making and sound personal judgments.

The base pay for this position is
$127,300.00 – $254,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
