ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBLITIES
• Oversee Processing Personnel: Manage the activities and responsibilities of all floor level employees (Order Filler- Container Repair- Forklift Operator- Material Handler-Switcher).
• Coordinate Daily Operations: Efficiently allocate resources and coordinate daily tasks.
• Ensure Procedure Compliance: Monitor adherence to all operational procedures by processing personnel.
• Training and Development: Facilitate the training of new employees, as well as the retraining and cross-training of existing staff to enhance flexibility and advancement opportunities.
• Data Collection and Reporting: Gather and report relevant data for operational analysis.
• Quality Inspections: Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of employees' work.
• Dispatch Duties: Handle dispatch responsibilities as required.
• Safety Prioritization: Maintain a strong focus on safety standards and practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend areas for operational improvement.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned.
SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS (List specific skills required but not defined in Dimensions)
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in warehouse operations and 2-3 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in computer operations.
• Attitude: Positive, reliable, and committed to timely task completion.
• Safety Knowledge: Basic understanding of state and federal safety regulations.
• Instruction and Delegation: Effective in giving clear instructions, delegating tasks, and adjusting priorities as needed.
• Adaptability: Resilient and able to adjust to changing work demands.
• Organizational Skills: Strong skills in organization and problem-solving.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Machinery Experience: Familiarity with machinery and forklift operation
