About the opportunity
Reporting to the Vice President, Global Talent Management and Development, this role is responsible for crafting the strategy and execution plan for Dayforce’s global learning function. This role will oversee the strategy, operations, and team that creates and delivers global learning content for all Dayforce employees including professional skills development, performance management workshops, core leadership development content, and compliance trainings.
What you'll get to do
• Direct the strategies, implementations, partnerships and operations for professional skills curriculum, core people management programs, and compliance training courses to develop employees across the globe, drive change, and increase organization performance
• Lead a team of learning professionals across the globe to develop and introduce scalable delivery models, comprehensive performanceand development programming, and facilitateinnovativeand inclusivesolutions that support Dayforce’sbusiness strategy
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence, translation partners, and cross-functional business leaders to ensure strategic alignment for training; collect and synthesize themes related to performance, leadership, career and professional development to create learning solutions that close gaps and drive game-changing business results
• Conceptualize and implement industry best practices for professional development and learning, leverage design thinking, and use data analytics to drive change and help propel the organization forward
• Independently design and coach others to create project management documentation, roadmaps, communication vehicles, and relevant reporting for learning (elearnings, virtual, and live) and development initiatives and programs
• Direct the strategies, implementations, partnerships and operations for senior leadership development programs, initiatives for high potential talent, and career mobility efforts to develop employees across the globe, drive change, and increase organization performance
• Oversee and contribute to building a career mobility strategy, and implement through key levers including leveraging career technologies, building career paths, and analyzing skills inventories to support employee development
Skills and experience we value
• Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, military experience, or related work experience preferably in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Talent, or Learning & Development
• Proven ability to assess best practices in the market and apply relevant trends into program design, technologically forward learning solutions, strategic initiatives and resources, and deliver exceptional training in support of the Global Talent Management team’s priorities
• 10+ years of corporate training experience and facilitating professional skills curriculum, leadership development programs for new leaders through senior executives, both virtually and in-person
• 10+ years of people leadership experience across multiple regions; ability to lead, develop, and enable team members in a corporate learning function to deliver innovative digital learning solutions throughout the employee lifecycle from hire to separation
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills (written and verbal); ability to present clear and concise messages to diverse groups at all levels of an organization
• Demonstrated superior subject matter expertise in training methodologies, adult learning theories, learning management system administration, corporate compliance, instructional design, training content and delivery, and learning technologies
• Professional Human Resources Certification and/or Executive Coaching Certification; formal certifications in professional development programs and assessments
• Experience working in a fast-paced and matrixed organization
• Willing to travel and work, as needed, to support customers across global time zones
