The Accountant is responsible for preparing and posting journal entries and assisting with interdepartmental inquiries. The Accountant prepares various monthly account reconciliations and IT inventory. 

 

What you'll be doing: 

• Preparing and posting various journal entries and accrual entries
• Calculating prepaid expense allocations and posting monthly prepaid expenses
• Calculating and posting monthly depreciation
• Reconciling various general ledger accounts
• Maintaining banking paperwork
• Assisting with internal and external audits
• Other duties as assigned 

 

You've got what it takes if you have: 

• 2+ years accounting experience
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

• Accounting Knowledge – an understanding of financial principles, accounting standards (IFRS), and practices, including the preparation of financial statements and accounting reconciliations.
