Purpose of the Position:

Provide subject matter expertise in Atmospheric Science to support military and space research projects.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Provide subject matter expertise in Atmospheric Science to support military and space research projects.
• Provide expertise in develop of research proposals and strategies to grow selected directed energy activities.
• Provide mentorship to more junior staff and students in support of Atmospheric Science activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ph.D. with 54 - 60 months (4.5 - 5 years) of full-time work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience.
• Experience in the management of scientific research teams in the area of atmospheric science.

Desired Qualifications:

• Ph.D. with 72+ months (6+ years) of full-time work experience.
• Experience in the management of proposal development.

$149,636 - $156,000
