Business Controller (Finance Department)

Our major offices are in Sweden (HQ), Canada, Greece, India, Poland with the Athens office being one of the largest, hosting around 640 employees working from the center of Athens for the rest of the world. </p><p></p><p><strong>Position summary</strong></p><p>Being in a strong growth phase, the Etraveli Group is focused on managing core business value, monitoring results &amp; profitability and ensuring internal efficiency.</p><p>We are thus currently looking for a Business Controller to join our Finance team. The role is broad and will be adjusted to make sure we get the most out of the one joining us. However, a key task will be to reconcile revenues and costs.</p><p>The role will report to the Group Business control Manager and will be based in Athens, but stakeholders can be in any of our locations, internally or externally. </p><p></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Analyze and monitor KPIs, revenue and costs</li></ul><ul><li>Support the Finance department with data-based assessments on key revenue streams, including large amounts of data, to ensure that the correct revenues / costs are reported.</li></ul><ul><li>Work closely with the Business control team in Athens, Sweden and Canada.</li></ul><ul><li>Perform other business controlling tasks that might be relevant given your background and expertise.</li></ul><p></p><ul><li>Collaborate with internal stakeholders / departments for several ongoing projects</li></ul><ul> <li>Analyze, control and monitor business processes and report them to internal stakeholders</li> <li>Focus on optimization of processes, introduction of controls and optimization</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>A Business, Finance or Data analytics degree</li></ul><ul><li>At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience, involving managing and analyzing large amounts of data </li></ul><ul><li>Strong analytical skills</li></ul><ul><li>Strong communication skills to quickly establish key relationships within the Group and externally</li></ul><ul><li>Ability to adapt quickly and experience in undertaking projects with different kinds of stakeholders at all levels.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent knowledge of Excel.</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent level English language</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of Microsoft D365/ Python will be considered a plus.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>We are looking for people who would make the world smaller for travelers but want a bigger world of opportunities for themselves.
